Snow Fairies & Dancing Cranes 🕊️

What happens

On Hokkaido's snowy coast, tiny round snow fairy birds line up on a branch, red-crowned cranes leap and dance, a red fox pounces in the snow, and a big sea eagle sits on the drift ice.

Fun facts

• The tiny shima-enaga is called a 'snow fairy' in Japan!
• Red-crowned cranes dance to stay close to their partner, and stay together for life.
• In winter, ice floats down to Hokkaido's coast from far in the north.
