The Square-Faced Fox 🦊

What happens

High on the Tibetan Plateau in Qinghai, China, a Tibetan fox stares at the camera with a boxy, totally unimpressed face. Pikas pop out of a hundred burrows, yaks and antelope graze by a blue lake, and wild donkeys called kiang gallop across the high plain.

Fun facts

• The Tibetan Plateau is called the Roof of the World.
• Tibetan foxes have square faces that help them hunt pikas.
• Kiang are the biggest wild donkeys in the world.
