What happens

In Swedish Lapland, under green northern lights, everything at the Ice Hotel is made of ice, even the soccer goal! Snow-white ptarmigans hop by, a cheeky Siberian jay lands on the ball, and a reindeer sled pulls the ball along the frozen river.

Fun facts

• The Ice Hotel melts every spring and is built again every winter.
• Reindeer can see ultraviolet light, which helps them in the snow.
• Willow ptarmigans turn white in winter to hide in the snow.
