What happens
On the Giant's Causeway, thousands of six-sided stone columns make giant stepping stones down to the sea, and the ball's patches look just like them. Seals pop up in the waves, eider ducks bob past and seabirds glide over the cliffs.
Fun facts
- There are about 40,000 stone columns here, and most have six sides!
- The stones were made by hot lava cooling and cracking long, long ago.
- The legend says a giant called Finn McCool built the causeway!
