Wild Canaries on a Volcano 🐤

What happens

On Tenerife, a cable car rises above a sea of clouds to the top of Teide volcano. Wild canaries flit over the black lava rocks, Tenerife lizards come out to sunbathe and one sits on the ball doing push-ups, and down by the sea cliffs pilot whales surface.

• Canary birds are named after the Canary Islands, not the other way around!
• Teide is the highest mountain in Spain.
