What happens
With lanterns glowing, the kids climb into a mountain in Austria and find the biggest ice cave in the world: walls, curtains and waterfalls of blue ice. Then the ball slides down a frozen ice slide deep into the cave, a marmot whistles, and outside, alpine choughs (crows with yellow beaks) do flips in the wind.
Fun facts
- Eisriesenwelt means "World of the Ice Giants" and is the biggest ice cave in the world.
- Cold winter air sneaks into the cave and freezes the melting snow water into ice.
- Alpine choughs are crows with yellow beaks that do flips and loops in the mountain wind.
