What happens

In Wadi Rum, Jordan's Valley of the Moon, giant red rock mountains rise out of the sand. A bright-blue lizard does push-ups on a rock, a pink rosefinch flits past, the ball rolls under a natural rock bridge, and a snow-white Arabian oryx walks out of the sunset.

Fun facts

• The pink rosefinch is Jordan's national bird.
• Wadi Rum is called the Valley of the Moon because it looks like another planet.
• Arabian oryx can go weeks without drinking water.
