What happens

In the red Kalahari of South Africa, two 'balls' sit on the sand, and one of them starts to walk: it's a pangolin! Sociable weaver birds zip in and out of a giant haystack nest with 100 rooms, a black-maned lion naps far away under a tree, and an aardvark with long ears pops out of its tunnel.

Fun facts

  • Pangolins are the only mammals covered in scales.
  • A sociable weaver nest can have more than 100 rooms.
  • Aardvarks dig tunnels super fast with their strong claws.

Say hello like a local
