What happens
Rottnest Island is home to the quokka, the little animal that always looks like it's smiling. Quokkas hop in from everywhere to join the game, dolphins leap in the bay and an osprey patrols the sky, while the ball never touches the sand.
Fun facts
- Quokkas look like they're smiling because of the shape of their mouths!
- Quokkas are marsupials. Their babies grow in mum's pouch!
- On Rottnest, visitors don't touch or feed quokkas. Just smile back!
