What happens

In Litchfield's hot, golden grassland, tall flat termite mounds stand in rows like gravestones that all face the same way. A frilled-neck lizard pops open its frill like an umbrella, then runs off on two legs, and wallabies hop between the mounds.

Fun facts

  • Frilled-neck lizards open their frill to look big and scary. They're really just shy!
  • Magnetic termite mounds face north and south to keep cool in the hot sun.
  • Frilled-neck lizards can run on just their two back legs!
