What happens
Off South Africa's Wild Coast, the sea turns silver: millions of sardines swirl into a giant fish ball. Dolphins zoom around it, gannets plunge in from the sky like arrows, a humpback whale glides past in the blue, and at the very end the swirl makes a soccer-ball pattern.
Fun facts
- The sardine run can be seen from airplanes, it's that big!
- Cape gannets dive into the sea as fast as a car on the highway.
- Sardines swim in a tight ball to stay safe together.
